Val Stone is the founder and managing partner of Stone Solicitors LLP. A native of Wexford town, Val started his legal career at Clarke Jeffers Solicitors in Carlow before returning home in 1992 to establish his own firm. A businessman at heart, Val’s understanding of the essentials of business and the commercial realities of today’s economic climate give him the edge in his specialist areas of commercial property and general commercial law. Val has maintained a keen interest in retail leases for over thirty years, representing numerous high-street traders and representing both Landlords and Tenants. More recently, he has provided expert advice on the sale and purchase of various businesses, including share purchase agreements for veterinary, dental and medical practices, as well as pharmacies and other enterprises. As head of conveyancing at Stone Solicitors LLP, Val oversees all residential conveyancing and commercial Conveyancing files managed by his team. Val is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has qualified as a commercial mediator with CEDR in the UK. His extensive experience and qualifications make him a respected and trusted advisor in his field.
